If you already experience daily tooth sensitivity, you will be more prone to sensitivity after teeth whitening. Post whitening sensitivity usually lasts 24 hours. If sensitivity is your concern, please contact us for a free consultation before booking as we may be able to accommodate by using a lower concentration whitening gel. We also send you home with a desensitising gel to prevent sensitivity. You can also use sensodyne for 2 weeks prior and post appointment

Most people are suitable for teeth whitening. We do not recommend teeth whitening for individuals under 16, pregnant or breastfeeding women

No, whitening gel can only whiten natural porous tooth structure. However, you can still get teeth whitening on your other natural teeth but have to keep in mind that they will change shade and your fillings, veneers or crowns will stay the same colour. Please inform us if you have any fillings, veneers or crowns. If unsure please request a free consultation

Yes, for the first 48 hours your teeth are more susceptible to stains so you will have to be on a ‘white’ diet. Which essentially means that you have to avoid all food or drinks that can stain a white shirt. This means no coffee, tea, red wine, red pasta sauce, berries etc. A more detailed aftercare list will be given to you after your appointment

Please make sure to brush and floss before your appointment. A dental check up and clean is not essential but is highly recommended prior to your appointment as existing cavities and gingivitis (gum disease) may increase post whitening sensitivity. A dental clean will also ensure there is no plaque or tartar build up on your teeth so our products can reach your whole tooth surface and provide better and longer lasting results

They can last anywhere from one month to two years depending on your aftercare and lifestyle habits. The dental materials used takes time to set into the tooth so aftercare for the first 48 hours is crucial, like avoiding hard and crunchy foods

Unfortunately Glow Room does not currently have the facilities to remove tooth gems at the salon. You will have to visit a dental clinic to have the materials polished off
